Some memories / pictures from the first outing with the Chevelle in 2024, after the change of plans in the beginning of last season.

The Tierp race in August 2024 wasn’t a good one in any way!.... BUT, it was at the same time a HUGE WIN for us! Because we got to the event and made some rounds, even that we did not even have a blower for the car on Wednesday evening!… 🤘🏻💪🏻😎 Which made us miss all of the qualifying rounds on Thursday…! 🙃

I had a great plan that the blower did destroy totally, but I know the engine makes plenty of power now and I have an idea for what to do with the car after some changes I did before this race! 🤠🚙💨

Thanks to all involved that made this happen, team, family, partners and fans! ❤️ You are the best! 🙏🏻

Looking for a team member!

Experience is a good thing but fitting in and being interested and want to learn and listen is way more valuable than knowledge. I always say, if you really want something you can do it!

Important priorities for me during a race weekend is having good food and having the car ready when it’s time for it. Stressful situations is what a racing weekend is all about, many things to solve quick and you need to have some skinn on your nose and not be a person that are looking for what other people are doing wrong.

You must be dedicated and understand that this is something that is prepared for hundreds of hours back home at the shop and then we have just a few days during the season / whole year when we can do something with the preparations we made, here is no half assing during race weekends. You are not a person than just sits around reading a book smokes a cigarette thinking this is a vacation. This isn’t just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle.

You must be careful and make a proper job, It’s a lot of money involved and the safety when it comes to the driver is important.
If there is a problematic situation, you will ask how to solve it! Making a bad job is not an option.

We will probably do 4 events in 2025, but a huge plus is to be able to help out in the shop at home also.
If you are living close it is an even bigger plus!
I’m kind of used to do much of the work by myself so I’m doing this to maybe make life a little easier for myself.

This is a non profit deal, we are just consuming money! 😅 So the paycheck is really bad, but instead this can be a really great and fun thing to be a part of, if you really want it and are dedicated!

Of course food and things needed during a race weekend is something I will pay for.

Yes, I’m asking for a lot! But I also know that this isn’t something for everyone, I have learned it the hard way and this isn’t for everyone!!!

Age, pretty much does not matter at all if you are the right one.

Thanks to my AWESOME friends and partners Tobbe and Chrille! ❤️🙏🏻

Kind of funny that I Friday last week got a memory when I bought the last crankshaft! (The one I found out was broken last Wednesday) 😅🤣

I did decide to order a new one already Wednesday evening! 💰💸💸💸
No matter what, I know I need one even if I wont have money enough to race this year.. Due to the low budget I’m racing on….

Especially after spending saved money on updates I want to try to get the numbers I’m looking for on the scoreboard! 😎

Then a good friend contacted me and said “I’m planning my vacation after your racing schedule” 😳
So you are going racing! 🚦🚙💨💨💪🏻

I want to say a HUGE THANKS to Tobbe at TGPAB / T.Grundström Plåtslageri AB that also from 2025 supports me with the company Flikens Vandrarhem! 🤩

Then our neighbor Chrille at Alwerco Svets & Smide AB decided to help out too! 🤩

So thanks to the great people and companies above we are racing in 2025! 🙏🏻❤️

BUT…. There is always a but in everything… 😬

When I did order the new crankshaft I was told it’s 20-25 weeks before it’s done… But it might be finished earlier! 🧐 At that time it was 20 weeks to the Tierp race! 🙄 So time will tell if we will be there or not! 🤔🙃

I assumed a crank was further away, so I’m kind of happy but still this is a bit too interesting!… Why must everything be so hard all the time!? 🫣😅🤣🤣

The forced strange happiness you feel when you are receiving a couple of packages with the most expensive updates you made to your race car in the past…. 🤔 7-8 years or so, 2 days after you got the info that you don’t have a crankshaft to your engine so you can use and try out the updates… The updates you been thinking of for the past 4 years! 😳😬😅🙈

I’m trying to have a positive mindset in this bad situation! ✌🏻😎

Well it’s a happy race car parts Friday anyway, hold your thumbs for us! And that we will get a crankshaft in time! ✊🏻
