We are having a great warm morning here at Dala Järna Raceway! 🙂
It’s been raining some during the night (let’s call it track wash) 😉
After some breakfast we are going to start getting the Chevelle ready for tomorrow’s exhibition rounds here at Dala Street Open! 🙂

Me, Sofi and Fredrik are having a great evening here at Dala Järna Raceway after building our pit area here today!
Today we took the long 10 minute drive for our home to the track! 🙂 Wish it could be like that every time! 😉
We are kind of the first team here at the track! :)
The crew have been working on the track all day today, Thursday! And the race won’t start until Saturday! Track looks much better than last year, and last year it was way better than what I assumed it would be!
We did have some pizza dinner here at the track, that’s the good part when being really close to civilization! 😀
The Chevelle is ready to get some service and adjustments tomorrow! Need to do some changes after the weekend at Tierp to fit this weekends track conditions!

That was a strange round, more about that later!
But I’m happy anyway that we are here and that the car works as good as it does! And I have almost figured out a new tune for it after all the changes I made to it! 🙂
Got loose, went left! Was able to drive through it! Then I started to drift left again and pulled the chutes early at 3.1 seconds!… This weekend is over for us, congrats to Tommy and team for the win!
Let’s pack this up, in rain of course! 😉
Looks like we are having our first elimination round around 2 or so today, so it will be one more day of loooong waiting!.. 🙂

The weather is awesome here at Tierp Arena this morning!
We are ready, just need to make some minor tuning adjustments!
It was time for TD, we got ready to get into the cars and then it was a huge clean up before the first pair!… Heard something about a 1/4 mile oil clean up!…

Then it started to rain, and about 1.5 hour later it was time for us again but!… It wasn’t the same track anymore, it felt like doing the burn out on ice!.. When driving a car like this it’s easy to feel in the car if you got some kind of friction or not between the tires and track.
We ended up in the fifth position of ten cars with our bad misfiring 3.92 round!..
If this would have been a normal race weekend I would have been disappointed! But I’m more than happy to just be here at the track!
Like I said earlier, Wednesday we did not even have a blower to the car, the car was in pieces, nothing around with the trailer, food and much more was unprepared!
And now we in the team are having fun here at the track together in our drag racing family!! 😀
Now it’s dinner time!
Then it’s time for some service and a good nights sleep!
That shake down pass I’ve been looking for is now here! 3.92 @ 302km/h!
With a really lazy early run and a lot of misfire from 2.3 seconds! BUT, I already know the reason to it, hold your thumbs that we will get our next round today!
Now some service of the car and then let’s gooooooo!!!!!
