After the drizzle stopped we got some ignition issues to solve…
But we are now ready to roll down to the starting line, first a 30 minute lunch break for the track crew and then it’s time for at easy soft test pass to see if I succeeded to figure out a good base for the changed rear end gearing, added gear in the transmission, fuel system and ignition!

But first some rain, forecast tells us it will be some rain now and then during the morning to after lunch. They are working on drying the track and keep some heat in it right now! So I guess that we will be up and running pretty quick as soon the drizzle stops!

We have fired up the Chevelle to test some stuff here during the evening and it looks like everything is like I want to have it!

Today just like always when we are out racing we got some really good food to eat from out awesome partner Kaare at Stockholm Gourmet / ICA Gärdet, and both fridges are full so we are sure that we will survive the 2 weeks we are going to spend here at the track! =D
A new year a new country at a new track with a new design on the Chevelle! =D
I started to get a little bit tired of the old look that I’ve got for the past 9 years or so on the car, our new partner Clearwrap and the guys behind it, Micke, Victor, Andre and Putte made an incredibly awesome work with a short notice helping me wrap the sides on the car in the end of last week and also make a lot of sponsor decals for me to put on afterwards.
I think it looks awesome with matte white pearl on the sides! What do you guys think!? 🙂

After a well needed night of sleep we got the Chevelle out and have started to build the rest of our pit space that we didn’t finished last night when it got dark outside…
Soon will the rest of the team arrive from the airport and we will start to prepare everything for tomorrow’s qualifying!
And we are finally here in England at Santa Pod Raceway after 2 while days of traveling!!

The clock is 9:30 in the evening and it’s time to start unload the trailer!
In Sweden we call it a “stödbensöl” and I really needed it right now! 😉
Just arrived to Dover and it’s time to handle this crazy left hand traffic on the way to the track!… 😉
Last ferry from Dunkerque in France to Dover in England and then after that the last 3-4 hours in the truck to Santa Pod Raceway!

Time to get some diesel, we did just cross the border to Belgium. About 2-3 hours left to the ferry in France / Dunkerque that will take us over to England!
