The elimination lottery ladder for tomorrow is done! Kind of boring with a bye round but we also really need a test pass in the car before racing agains someone else, so at the same time I’m happy about it! 🙂

Elimination starts at 10:00 tomorrow Sunday!

We did roll back instead.

Track is around 60 degrees and that was after a rainy day when no one have driven a car down it, it starts to get really cold outside and foggy…

I trust the track crew when they say the track is safe but I don’t feel that I will get what I want to have out of this pass by taking away power to get the car down it!…

It’s a new day tomorrow and elimination at 10:00 for Pro Doorslammer!

Rolling down for Q3 right now!

Just got back from a drivers meeting, it still rains but if it stops we will be able to race until 9.00 tonight. It won’t be any eliminations today like planned so we will continue to make qualification runs instead.

They will take a decision in a couple of hours if they will cancel the day or not!

No matter what happens today we will have our first eliminations round tomorrow at 10:00.

It stopped and if you really wanted you could almost see the sun breaking trough, but it started to rain again..

Playing the waiting game…

It’s been raining pretty much all night, but right now it looks like it’s over… at least for a while!

Forecast looks pretty good at least!

The track crew are drying the track at the moment.

Time for breakfast! 🙂

After some issues with drizzle now and the during the start of the day plus ignition issues we finally got down to the starting line for the first qualification round.

It was pretty simple to make a personal best on the 1/4 mile!… 😉 But still it’s a personal best! =D

Last time i made a 1/4 mile pass was in 2011 and I went 6.81 @ 314km/h (195mph) today my first 1/4 mile pass 8 years later I make a 6.56 @ 365km/h (226mph) out of the trailer! I made sure just to get it down the track and get a graph to look at and it worked really good! 🙂 Except that the Racepak didn’t work like it should do so I never got the graph I wanted…..

Car felt really lame so I added some power to it for Q2 even if I didn’t know it was the right way to go or not… But instead I did hit a crazy shake about 1 second out, and it was a good one! I can still feel it!… 😉

Now after an awesome dinner it’s time for some service of the car!

Pics below from today by Mr Monk!

The Chevelle looks goooooood with the new design!

Pretty good for first round!

In the pairing lanes for the first test hit in 2019, let’s do some 1/4 racing! 🙂
