Me and Max are now leaving Pite Dragway pretty satisfied 🙂 And now we got about 14 hours before we are back at the shop again! 😀 just step in it! 😉
But what a close race! I was 0.068 and Victor 0.043 on the three, and I was 4.158@290km/h and Victor 4.164@297km/h on the finish line! 😀
We did put on a good show for sure! Tricky track like I said yesterday car feels totally dead down the track a boring brown Volvo station wagon with an automatic trans that makes 4.14@290km/h in 201 meters 1/8 mile!…. I did steer the car all way down the track so it was loose, I might have been able to add some power but I’m pretty sure I would have spun the tires instead….
Congrats to the Victera Racing team!
She still looks good! 🙂
Rimbert shut off so we got a solo but I made it down on a full pass to get lane choice and I did repeat the round before with a 4.14@290km/h and got the lane choice against Victor Jansson and the Victera Racing team in the finals again!!! Now it’s for a good light on the three! 🙂
Once again I almost fucked up on the three agains a fucking bumping turbo junk car…. up on the 2-step for 2.5 seconds usually I’m on it for maximum 0.5….! I was screaming in my helmet, that’s the second time this weekend! I will never be a gentleman on the three again against someone that tries to mess up my round already on the three that’s for sure!…..
Now service and then up against the second in points in the series, Rimbert Wahlström and the Bankrobber Team! And we got lane choice.
Really sad that I need to take out pretty much the whole motor to get down the track on a slow pass without pedaling…. And no I don’t have a traction control, I tune my car for the track trying go fast instead! It doesn’t work every time but I know how to get down at least!…. 🙂
Soon time to warm up the car here at Pite Dragway, we got one more sunny warm day and I must say it feels kind of strange that we haven’t got any rain at all (yet) during the two last event! 😉
Sunny, blue sky and it’s warm outside! 😀
I already knew that I was gonna hit a shake but I didn’t know I was gonna be this angry about it…. I hopped it up to make a pass using the motor with all spark plug wires connected and I saw progress on that on the 60ft, 0.992! Almost a 0.98X! And that is pretty good I think, car felt really good I felt the motor producing power for the first time this weekend but then into a shake about 1.5s out, off and on the pedal because I got so angry about it and then in to a really violent shake so it now hurts in my arms and hands….
If you need to take out pretty much everything out of the motor to get down the track on a slow time this feels really meaningless to continue with, first time for a really long time I’m REALLY tired of dragracing. And no I will never put in traction control that will take the car down the track, that’s just as boring to have someone doing everything on your car and you are just a monkey driving it.
But tomorrow is a new day, it’s elimination day! I think we have Erik Andersson with his turbo Mustang in the first round!
Shock did compress about 4.5 inches…. NOT GOOD FOR THE CAR…. But if you are angry you are angry! 😉
Pretty good on the three and good 60 foots all trough the qualifying at least! 🙂 Something that’s really bad here at Pite Dragway is that they don’t have any sensor at the 330ft mark… would be fun to see how the car works there other than in the Racepak…
Pretty sure I’m gonna shake my ass off now in Q5 but I wanna try go fast! 😀
Stay tuned!
Good light on the three, good 60ft and first full pass this weekend! 🙂
But I’m so low on power so it feels like I’m driving a brown Volvo station wagon with an automatic transmission….! 😉
Like I said, I’m gonna work on that three! 😀
