We where lucky when we broke the blower belt last round out agains Micke Nord in Tierp, after the round when we got back to the pit I saw that the pulley on the oil pump had moved forward so the belt did line really bad…
Now when I took it apart I found out that a spiro lock ring had moved from the place it should be so the oil pump started to fall apart inside…
So maybe, if I had made a full pass last round out the engine would lost oil pressure and got A LOT of damage…
Lucky or what?? 🙂
