After a lot of clean ups we were able to make a run. 1.05 at 60 ft and 7.36 / 301 km/h at the stripe. Will we see a 6-second run tomorrow?
A pretty wild start last run. 1.12 to sixty feet, which is a new personal best. Then the car drifted to the left and Andreas clicked of and cruised to the end.
We’re doing the final preparations on the car. In 15 minutes it’s time for drivers meeting and then warm up the Chevelle. And when there’s enough teeperature in the track we’ll be ready to run!
It’s pretty cold but at least the sun is shining this morning.
ÅBM Racing taking some time to eat breakfast together
TTR Racing brought their winter car.
What’s happening here?
The car has been weighed just to make sure everything is correct. Two video cameras has been mounted in the car to make some cool videos afterwards and a lot of other small issues have been solved. We’re ready for tomorrow!
Important team meeting going on under the car.
Mr Swecomposite & Co came by.
Åke’s making sure the car looks shiny
ÅBM Racing is now on track at Kjula Dragway. It’s the last time here for this summer, and we’re hoping to get some better numbers on the car and be prepared for Night to Fire at Tierp Arena in about two weeks. The race at Tierp will be the first real race event for Andreas and the team. We’ll be updating the website continuously this weekend… Stay tuned!
Our bus have found it’s place and the pit looks like it should.
Tobbe is putting the pushrods back in the engine.
Time to check the total weight of the car after mounting some more weight in the rear.
Even the chef, Crille, is trying (in his own way) to get Andreas to floor the pedal and get quicker to end of the track.
A pretty satisfied driver.
