Work on the cylinder heads!!

The problem!! And the really bad thing is that we had it on all 8 cylinders…
The following pictures is what you can do in about 7 days if you work really hard and have really good friends that helps you!

After some machining.

After a lot of machining! A huge thanks to Lasse Löörs for taking time and helping me machining the heads!

TTR Jompa welding like always..! 🙂 A huge thanks!!!! The picture is taken for about 24 hours ago!

Åke is making new spark plug threads.

A lot done but a lot left to do….

About midnight yesterday, the heads start to get done! 🙂

Looking really good!! 🙂

Ok now its friday morning and we hope to leave Täby and go to Kjula Dragway in about 7 hours.
Time to work!

Working on the Chevelle, hope we can go to Kjula this weekend.

The clutch and trans is all done and it is just some small stuff left to do, and then we got our cylinder heads…. We did find out that we had some problems with the spark plug threads and they need a lot of hours of machining, welding and more machining and because of too much to do in the shop i had to find someone else to help me with it so right now i dont know if we are going to Kjula Dragway this weekend but i really hope so…!!!

Well it looks like they are working! 🙂

Åke is checking the main bearings.

The bottom of the engine is done, now we just wait for the cylinder heads…

Tobbe is almost done with all the electric junk in the car…!
