It’s Friday morning with an awesome weather and we will go out on our first qualifying round at 3:00 this afternoon 5 hours from now, second will be late at 19:30 so it will be a long day here. Yesterday we had a soft evening, did eat good and spent some time on the car doing some small service and adjustments for the coming weekend. 🙂

Good morning world, and she is ready for warm up!

Crazy good weather here today this morning! 😀

I found a little thing in the computer during the week at Gubbis that might be a part of the problem why I couldn’t get the car down the track at Sundsvall Raceway, yes the track was pretty shitty and goofy but still you should always be able to get the car down on a slow time instead…. gonna be fun to see if the thing I found will do any change on how the car reacts down the track today! 

Checked the bottom end and everything looks just fine!

I did some updates on the fuel pump, our little Chevy likes a lot of fuel! 😉

One funny thing here up north in Sweden is that it never gets really dark, kind of strange for people that never visited this place earlier, you gets pretty messed up in your head because you don’t know / or can really see what time it is during the evening and night. 🙂

We did arrive about 2 hours ago to the track here at Pite Dragway, me, Max and Patrik have unloaded the all the stuff and built out pit, now it’s time for some service of the Chevelle and make her ready for tomorrow’s first qualifying pass at 3 in the afternoon. We are not in a hurry to get things done but it feels good to have everything under control also! 🙂

My driving suit starts to smell so bad so I’m trying to get some help from the fresh air to clean it a bit, hopefully it will be a little better 😉

And of course a cold beer in the sunny weather! 😀

We are about to leave Gubbis and will be heading for Pite Dragway together with TeeCee, Bankrobbers and Tasmanien Racing!

Finally some sun, it have been raining pretty much all week since we got here…. but hopefully it’s over now so the coming weekend will be warm and sunny so we will have a good race weekend! 🙂

Me, Max and Patrik did arrive here at Gubbdagis a little while ago, feels good to be here again and have a couple of days vacation! 🙂

Leaving a rainy Sundsvall Raceway and heading for a hopefully sunny Gubbis in Piteå! 🙂

At least the God of rain waited with this weather until after the race weekend was over! 

Plan was to get into the truck and heading for Pite Dragway but then we found some better plans, celebrate some with beer with the event winners here at Sundsvall Raceway Team Bankrobbers and still here with us we also have TeeCee Racing!

A LOT of driving and went into a crazy shake 1.6s out… Was off and on a couple of times but ended up with a 4.39 against Victors 4.25, congrats to our friends in the Victera Racing team! 🙂

Did have the weekends best reaction time for me, pretty good in the eliminations have I heard… after the finals at Tierp Arena two weeks ago against Victor… 🙂

We also made the weekends slowest 330ft time, all weekend we have been around 1.00 to 60ft but track is crazy goofy around 300ft and then all the way to the finish line, haven’t made a full pass during the weekend and have been steering to make the long way down track, pretty satisfied anyway that I start to figure it out but it would be funnier if the track would be in the same condition all the way instead of changing a couple of times on the way…. It’s pretty much like a in and off switch…. But this is also the first time I’m at this track and the weather is this good, sunny, blue sky and warm all weekend! 😀

Now I look forward to the race next weekend at Pite Dragway, that track is always in a condition that is easier to read.

Victor also did some driving but he took a straighter way down the track!

Car looks just fine and no parts hurted during the weekend and that feels good after the changes i did after Tierp when the motor did eat some stuff up… 😉
