Car is ready, just waiting to be called down!
Looks like we are having our first elimination round around 2 or so today, so it will be one more day of loooong waiting!.. 🙂
The ladder for today, we got Anders Edh in the first round!
The weather is awesome here at Tierp Arena this morning!
We are ready, just need to make some minor tuning adjustments!
It was time for TD, we got ready to get into the cars and then it was a huge clean up before the first pair!… Heard something about a 1/4 mile oil clean up!…
Then it started to rain, and about 1.5 hour later it was time for us again but!… It wasn’t the same track anymore, it felt like doing the burn out on ice!.. When driving a car like this it’s easy to feel in the car if you got some kind of friction or not between the tires and track.
We ended up in the fifth position of ten cars with our bad misfiring 3.92 round!..
If this would have been a normal race weekend I would have been disappointed! But I’m more than happy to just be here at the track!
Like I said earlier, Wednesday we did not even have a blower to the car, the car was in pieces, nothing around with the trailer, food and much more was unprepared!
And now we in the team are having fun here at the track together in our drag racing family!! 😀
Now it’s dinner time!
Then it’s time for some service and a good nights sleep!
That shake down pass I’ve been looking for is now here! 3.92 @ 302km/h!
With a really lazy early run and a lot of misfire from 2.3 seconds! BUT, I already know the reason to it, hold your thumbs that we will get our next round today!
Now some service of the car and then let’s gooooooo!!!!!
Today is a new day, let’s get that race car down the track and start produce some numbers!…
First round for today in about 1.5 hour or so!
After a good nights sleep I got some new ideas! That I’m pretty sure will work together with the changes I made to the car!
I did rain last evening and during the night, but today’s weather looks great and so does the forecast for the rest of the day!
The schedule for today, 2 more rounds to make better numbers!
During our breakfast we got a surprise visitor, Bänkt! 😀
Sofi are preparing our new beautiful Swedish colored chutes! They are ready to stop the Chevelle after a great pass today! 🙂
Please come by and buy some shirts, support us so we can continue with our circus! 🙂
A slow 4.26 @ 262km/h with some pedaling and chutes out early…
I’m a little lost!… I’ve done some changes to the car that I wanted to test for a while. But we never got the test rounds yesterday that I hoped for due to the blower issues we got during the past week…
So I did some stuff today, and the car does not like it at all! Haha!…
Now it’s dinner time! Thanks to Sofi that fixed everything around it to make it work! <3
Well we got 2 more rounds tomorrow, and I’m going back to a bit safer tune, I hope!
During this traditional Swedish Drag Racing weather we got now (rain) we are getting the car serviced and checked for tomorrow!
Sofi is checking the rear suspension!
Dad and Krille are checking the engine!
John is making sure we don’t have any strange stuff in the oil pan!
I’m working on a tune! 😉
It’s time again in about 30 minutes, we have done some chassis changes to the car! But I was on the throttle long enough to get some early data to be able to do some minor power management changes too!
Stay tuned!
