The pairing for todays first round!
The schedule for today!
We just got some breakfast here at a chilly and cloudy Tierp Arena, the Vette is ready to warm up in a little while and I think we will be called about in about 2 hours!
Stay tuned!
And the camshaft is still ok!
After a couple of rain delays we finally got out second qualifying round at 20:00 this evening!
I’m getting closer to find a tuning window but I’m still way too low on power!… It’s a HUGE difference between a roots and a screw blower when it comes how much fuel you can give it or how much timing you can take out!… But I’m learning! 🙂 And I want a screw blower!! 😀
It’s been a long day of waiting today, again!… 🙂 First round got delayed due to a crash, what I heard the driver is ok but at the hospital!… 🙁
Then we got som rain, after that we rolled down for Q1 and we got some more rain in the line up… Made a pass and got some data!
Then it was time for the waiting game again!…
Then after a couple of hours delay again it was time for Q2! But… We got some rain again in the line up!
Sofi found a great hiding place in the rain! 🙂
A rainbow is not what you want to see when it’s time to make a pass!
We are ready for tomorrow with a new transmission to get some more wheel speed, and we have also put together one more trans so we can add even more ratio after the first pass because I’m pretty sure we need it!
After that we had some Taco Friday with grocery’s from ICA Gärdet! 🙂
The Vette is serviced and ready for Q3 tomorrow!
And now it’s time for some sleep!
After some rain delay in the line up we got a round that was enough to get some data to work from!
But after some adjustments in the drivers area after Norway I found out that it was even harder to see the tree when I’m in the right lane… So I did have a lot problems to see the pre stage and stage lamp and getting in to stage so I needed to listen to Micke when he went up on 2-step so I could do the same…. So the reaction time wasn’t that great! 🙂 But I held the pedal to the floor until 3 seconds out when I started to shake some so I was off the throttle!..
Well we got som data to work from at least!
The Vette is serviced and we got some food!
We will go out again really shortly against Gullan if the rain stays away!… We just got some drizzle!…
Something happened out on the track so Q1 are delayed! Not sure what it was.
But we are ready to go when it’s time!
And Katrin are preparing some lunch during the time so we can eat when we get back from the round!
It’s a cold and cloudy morning here are Tierp Arena! I did just get the running order for Q1!
We will go out for the first qualifying round around 12:30-13:00, I guess.
It’s a bit cold and cloudy, and I hope that the weather forecast is wrong for today!…
We got some breakfast a while ago and we are now just waiting to warm up the motor and get ready for the round in about 4 hours from now!
Todays qualifying is cancelled!… 🙁 It’s been a really bad day for the sportsman racers today!… We have prepared the Vette for tomorrows qualifications and it’s inspected and approved!
It’s been raining pretty much since 01:00 last night now!…
Our qualifying starts first tomorrow so for us it’s been a day of preparing for tomorrow, relax, eat and have a good time! 🙂
The Vette is serviced, Jörgen ang Krille did check rod bearings this morning.
Me and Benkt did diagnose and fixed some air shift issues that we got last weekend in Norway buy change the Co2 air regulator that for some reason don’t give enough air anymore.
I have serviced the toilet! 🙂
The weather forecast for today….
We have prepared what we can for tomorrow!
And we have been eating breakfast, lunch and snacks! 😉
And we got the Vette inspected and approved!
We arrived to Tierp Arena around 13:00 yesterday / Wednesday! And we got some rain directly when we got out of the truck! And then after a lot of arguing with the wind team Old 51 arrived and blocked and saved us from the really powerful winds!…
The trip from the Bat Cave to Tierp was pretty simple!
And like I said, it took some time to get the pit space ready due to the heavy winds!
But when it was pretty much over we unloaded the Vette (before the rain)
I did clean out the trailer!
Benkt and Krille did some adjustments on the Vette!
Of course Sofi is working late on a Wednesday evening!
And we got some great dinner made by Sofi with grocery’s from our awesome partner ICA Gärdet!
And then it was time for Huldas beauty sleep!
No racing for us tomorrow Thursday! Just relax, finishing up some details on the Vette and get her inspected for the qualifying that starts Friday! 🙂
Me, Sofi, Jörgen and Benkt are now heading for Tierp Arena and the last race with Jörgens Pro Mod Vette for 2023!
