CRAZY RAIN!!!!

Right now and for an hour or two it have been raining so much so I believe that the roof on the bus is going to fall in any minute!!! Pretty happy right now that we packed everything yesterday!

The rain drops are big as golf balls!!

WOT, let’s STOMP on that loud pedal!! It’s Friday! 🚦🚙💨💪🏻🤘🏻

My planned schedule for 2025 from the beginning was to make 3-4 outings, and the series for this year must be the best one in the past 8-10 years or so if you ask me! 🥳🙌🏻👏🏻

TD1. Tierp Arena 12-15 June
TD2. Mantorp Park 24-27 July
TD3. Tierp Arena 7-10 August
TD4. Hudik Raceway 5-6 September

These are the tracks that delivers what we need and also the tracks where we have seen the most cars to make a real ladder in the past 8 years or so!… 😃

What we will do for real now depends on 2 things!… 😅

The missing crankshaft to our engine, that one might show up first after the Tierp race in June!… 😢 But I can’t do anything about it so I can just sit and wait for it!… 🙈 If I get it in time I will do all I can to get the Big Block Chevy ready to make some great rounds at Tierp! 😎

Next, I do not have enough people in the team as it is right now…. Don’t know if that will be solved or not at this moment! 🙃
At Mantorp I will be missing important key persons so that one will be really hard to solve! 😅 Going to a event and miss out on rounds due to we can’t get the car ready in time between rounds is something I don’t wanna be a part of… 👎🏻 But it looks like that will be my option for 2025!… 🙄

But I’m happy with the ones I got with me and they are great people and all of them will do all they can to make this season possible! ❤️

What will happen for real is something that the future will tell! 👀 I will continue to MAKE THE CHEVELLE GREAT AGAIN during the time!… Until we know for real!… 🤪

Making great progress on the Chevelle in the ÅBM

Making great progress on the Chevelle in the ÅBM shop! 💪🏻😎🥳

Last year I found out that the rod ends in the 4-link and to the sway bar started to get a little sloppy, so a while ago when I was on my way to change them out I also saw that the holes in the brackets on the rear housing starting to be a little worn! 😅 And it should be after 15 years of abuse! 🤣

But this was a pretty easy fix @timmcamis got doubler plates that you can order that fit directly and after welding them in place together with new bolts the housing is like new again and ready for 15 more years! 💪🏻😎👌🏻

Next thing about Tim McAmis, what an outstanding company! Quality parts, they are proud of what they do and sell and do not sell junk!… 👍🏻 They also let you use your Swedish card to pay with, you can use you own UPS account so you save money, they do not have tons of fishy fees on everything that you must pay to buy their product!… Stuff like that is way too common nowadays and it’s a pain in the ass to buy parts sometimes… 🤢🤯 Tim McAmis cares about the customer and want to sell a great product with an awesome customer service! 🔝💯 That’s all! 🙌🏻👏🏻

Then parts and stuff are arriving all the time right now, which feels awesome! 🥳 It’s just still a long wait on the crankshaft, but for every day we are moving one day closer! 😁

Nicke went by and started to prepare our 2 sets of tires, I have changed out some misc stuff in the chassis, I have checked the third member, been adding some more Racepak stuff, I love data graphs! 👀💻📈

And you know your race car is getting old when it’s time to change brake pads on it! 😅😂😱
